Czech out some of the Czech Holidays!

Hello my dear American Dad and Mom,
seeing your Christmas pictures made me deeply missing you and excited at the same time about your early message about your Europe trip! It also inspired me to post you some of mine pictures from the Holidays and share some words with you as well :).
This is the latest picture of me just so you could imagine how do I look nowdays. As you can see I gained some weight but despite to that I am very happy :) My boyfriend says I have the "Girlfriend´s syndom" Which means I am very comfortable about my relationship with him so naturaly I care less about my look. He altough tells me everyday how beautiful I am and gives me tons of compliments :] He does not notice that I have gained 15 kilos since we've started dating haha. So since yesterday I am on stricked diet and I feel like starving. But I feel really good inside like I am doing the right thing to do :]
I am finishing my first semester at the university and music exams are really sucking blood out of my veins. I excpect a lot of exams in January so I hope that will have gone well... My english subjects are better. I struggle in one or two subjects but nothing I couldn't handle :].
I feel released ou of the school stress now when we have little break. I tried to keep my mind busy and completely forget about school to clear my mind. I just hope I will remember something for my exams :]

So now about Christmas

We went to Prague to reach some of the Christmas spirit. This is Old Town Square. You might wonder why it is so crowdy. It is this crowdy only once an hour because of the Orloj Clock on the left. Every hour they shoe the apostols turning around and making a little show. You will get to see this when you'll be here :] Then in the back there is Christmas tree and the red small roofs, that is Christmas market.

This is picture from the same trip. The picture is taken from the back of the Cathedral on the Prague Castle. Mom Kamila and Dad Petr. [Dad looks little bit taller than mom but in reality he isn't...] - dont tell him I told you this :]

And this is me and my lovely boyfriend Dima making a Christmas potato salad for Christmas Eve table. We sent Christmas at our Crandma's and this is her kitchen.

This is me exchausted after making so much of the potato salad. We had to use bucket of this size to scramble so much salad. Do not worry. There were 10 of us at the table and we ate it the next two days :]

This is some of the Christmas coockies from my Grandma. I told her I need to take picture of this for you and she said she will make some more when you come :]

Aaaaaand this is just some snacks to make ourselves even more overeated haha :] Christmas are only once a year right?

And this is how I and Dima made Schnitzels. [there were even more than there are in the picture] [and we also ate them the next two days]

And this is my lovely Grandma [from mom's side] holding some Schnitzels. Her name is Marushka. [Maruška]

This is a very interesting recepy for salmon. Under the rock you see is hidden a fish. The Salmon is cover in crust made out of salt and of the white of eggs. It is the recepy of Jaime Oliver.
My mom told me to take the picture for you :]
I must say it was really delicious and yes. It was part of the Christmas dish as well :]

And this is our Christmas table in my Grandmas's Marushka Living room. Looks pretty classy doesnt it? :]

This is our little Christmas tree. For this year Christmas we decided to pick one person and give them one present. I got beautiful dress from my dad Petr for example. What did you get for Christmas?

This is my Dad with his parents. My granddad is very sick and he has been on two sugeries since september this year. He has sick heart and I pray he could spend the next year Christmas with us as well. He is very dear to me and always makes jokes about grandma :]. His name is Antonin and my Grandmas name is Zina.

Mine and my boyfriend's famous potato salad :] - the strawberries are for shampaign :]

This is some of the Schitzels. The rest is already on the table.

Marushka with her partner Pepa.

My mommy serving soup as an apetizer.
And this is me at the Christmas table. Have you noticed the earings I am wearing? These are from you! :]
This is me with my neighbor plaing guitars and people from my village singing on Christmas Eve the Cristmas Carols by the little Chappel in the center of our modest Village Sebuzin.
Here you can see my head and people that came to watch us and sing with us :]
And this is the last picture I am sending you. There is me with Dima and my very good friend Petra. Behind us is the city that Sebuzin bellongs to - Usti nad Labem.

It felt great to fill you up little bit into my life and I hope to hear from you too :] I love you very much and I hope you enjoyed the pictures :]

To my dear American Parents!

Dear Les and Bonnie,

I gotta admit I was about to write you lately several times but then just something steped into it and then there was no time. I'm making a catch up on me via blog because I found it as the easiest way to share with you some lines and some pictures too.

This is the landscape that is about 5 minutes away from my house.

I dont remember right now if the last time we talked was before the school started for me or not...  the time over here was passing by like some river! (I don't know if you have such a saying in America as well but that's just what we say over here, that the time is passing by like some river - like the water in the river, right?) ANYWAY so the school started for me. And it's new place, new people, new teachers, just everything new! It is just too overwhelming and it really makes me troubles to catch up with all of this. As I was in America, I kinda got out of my 'studiing mode' and now it's hard to catch up. Well positive thing is that this year I have only 14 classes and if I'll pass my german and math classes which are the biggest issue right now the school will let me to do my graduation exams.

Those are my mon's flowers. I don't understand how they could still be so beatiful when is 40°F outside when I leave house in the morning for school!!

Anyway my new classmates are ok, I made new friends but not any like lifelong friends. And two of my very good friends are now out of Czech (one in USA and the other in England) so I got only few because most of my friends are now in college so they're outta city. I need to say that I am very thankfull for my mom, she is my best friend now.

there is another view of our beautiful golden fall hills

Another thing that makes my life unpleasant is that since the school started I started having some health issues, nothing serious. It's just that I've been sick a lot and not very in the mood. I'm also having head-ache and sleeping problems, I have migrene everyday so I'm taking pills to reduce the pain and I drink tea to calm me down.

Yeach Village, town. city has its own mark just like this one.

Well that would be about complaining about myself. Well now something to stuff that I do when I'm not doing school. Well there is not too much to say yet because I'm feeling not alright all the time so I dont feel like doing things but I attend our youth group that has like 10 members (like 6 active members). The numbers are kind of sad picture but we love spending time together. You could say about me that I am sort of the youth group worship leader and I'm really liking it! It's small but it's the second fam.

And there is our house! Small, but I love it there! (add - it looks much better inside that out! haha) we're still missing the color on outdoors walls. By the was the bigger open window on the side upper floor in mine!:)

I'm also doing Bible studies with one of the girl from my church. We meet up in McDonald but our McDonald is not like yours, our is clean and has McCafé with delisious Frapachinos! haha. It's so good for us. It really makes our hearts grow in Jesus.

I just love how everything gets its own colors at this time of the year!

Oh I talked to Jaja the other day! She has holiday now and I was sick so we catch each other and talked. My mom bought me Thai dictionary so I try some Thai and guess what?! SHE UNDERSTOOD ME!! hahaha it was hilarious! I miss her :).

And this is our garden! As you can see all the bricks and wood there is still LOTS of work to do.

I got to talk little bit to Luisa yesterday as well and we found out we both are going to London at the same time so we're going to meet up! That really cheered me up! One of the reasons I'm going to England is because I'm going to see my best friend! Veronika! I'm super excited that I'll be seeing her in two weeks! I think it will be good for me that I will get out of the town for couple days and just turn off for little while.

Muchroom season! My grandma is every week at least twice in the woods hunting for mushrooms! I know you don't really do it but we do! ;) this one in the picture is actually eatable!

As this is my last year of high school I've got to choose what I wanna do next. The college. I've decided for English and American studies at faculty of Philosophy at Charles Univerzity, which is the most prestigious college in the country but I will be taking extra saturday classes in Prague starting in January for admissions. Well life is not as easy as it used to be in Puyallup :)

And there ís mom (Kamila) with her new haircut! her hair gets shorter every time she goes to hairstyler! I'm expecting her to come home as Les next time she goes from hair styler!

Today was a very good day for me. It was beautiful day. I was sick last week and today I was feeling lot better so me, mom and Michael (my dog Míša) went for walk after lunch and I took few picture to show you my Willage :) These are the pictures.

Our woods! Or our LES! because LES means forrest in Czech!

I'm so happy to hear that your kids are doing great in Germany! I know is something totally different than WA and I might not be surprise if they would be liking to stay there for longer than 4 years :). I also saw pictures of Vivi and she is so preacious! She must be such a blessing to Gina's and John's family! and to yours of course!

Seeing this bee in there made smile on my face today. Beautiful capture of God's work.

Well I hope this made you some ideas about my life over here and please let me know if my English's got worse! :P

And there is the last picture of our handsome Míša!

LOVE YOU!!

Czech update for September!! Listen up!

Dobry vecer! A to no kidding! Anyway, let's update you guys!

FAIR

Segra

Az budu doma, propomente mi, abych vam par udelala ;].

Tata machruje! haha

Taky zrovna tedka zacina sezona dyni a taky HALLOWEEN!!

Living Hogdiss

moje pork melo uspech

A moje knedliky meli taky uspech! Asi nebyl super napad delat bramborove knedliky bez ceske mouky, protoze v Americe nemaji hrubou mouku! A to ani polohrubou! Dopadlo to asi nasledovne...

Kdyz totiz varite kukuricnou mouku ve vode, ona nabobtna a uplne vam rozvari vase bramborove knedliky.

Jaja jinak miluje sladky a moje ceske jidlo :]

Nase mama taky nedavno jela na tydeni dovolenou do Colorada. Bydli tam nase starsi sestra [Nasi maminy dcera] a nase mamka si tam jela hrat se svym prvnim vnukem!! a dalsim na ceste! :] takze uz jsem teta! ;] nemuzu se dockat az to maly zorkosny stvoreni o Vanocich poznam!! :]

Schnitzel!! Taky jsme musely vymyslet nejaky program... a kam jinam vzit Harley bikera nez na motokary!! Totalne jsem ho rozdrtila mimochodem! :D

posledni vteriny pred zavodem!!

Jaja z toho mela vanoce! haha

Mival!!

Fakt lidi, rodinu mi tu Buh seslal z nebe!! :]

Jirko!!! uz muzes prijet! ;]

Nakupy v americkym stylu

Vzalo to cely mesic, nez to tam v tech kancelarich sepsali, schvalili, podepsali a my dostali svoleni prestoupit.

Ale mam se tedka uplne uzasne, Buh ZASE vsechno spatny obratil v to dobry :], vsem - VSEM CO TO CTOU, bych prala, aby to vsechno co mi tady dela mohli videt! No kidding :].

:D miss you gyus!!  Each of you! Don't dare to think that I forgot about you! :]

Love.
